Works with your register

Get more out of the register you already have.

Your register is built to ring up sales and take payments. RightPlace is a restaurant waitlist app, kitchen screen and deals board that runs in a web browser beside it. It handles the door, the line and the kitchen pass, and helps bring guests in. Pick your register to see how it fits.

Any other register, or none

RightPlace never plugs into a register. It runs in a web browser, so it works the same next to PAR Brink, Focus POS, Rezku, a cash drawer or no register at all.

Open getrightplace.app on any tablet, laptop, smart TV or other device and sign in with your spot’s code. No hardware required.

Post once, on RightPlace and Facebook

Connect your Facebook Page and you won’t need to log into two places. Post a deal on RightPlace, tick “Also post my deals to my Facebook Page”, and it goes to your Page too.

Specials and events you already put on Facebook come into RightPlace in a tap, so nothing is typed twice, and you check each one before it goes anywhere. Facebook connection is coming soon.

Send your register’s reports to RightPlace

If your register can email reports on a schedule as CSV files, add your spot’s private report address and each one goes straight into Numbers for fuller sales reports and a forecast. If it can’t, export a CSV and upload it, or email it yourself.

  1. Find the reports: On your register’s website, look under Reports for a checks or sales by hour report and an item sales (product mix) report.
  2. Look for a schedule: Look for Subscribe, Schedule or Automation near Export. If it offers CSV, add your RightPlace report address and pick how often.
  3. Or export it: No schedule? Pick the dates and export the report as CSV.
  4. Send it to RightPlace: In RightPlace, open Numbers, then Register reports, and tap Choose files. Or email the file to your spot’s private report address, shown in the same place.

Only totals are saved: by day and hour, by item and by server. No guest names, card numbers or single checks. Each email gets a reply saying what was saved.

Questions owners ask

Does RightPlace work with my POS?

Yes, alongside any register. It runs in a web browser beside your register. The register keeps every sale and payment, and RightPlace runs the door, the line, the kitchen pass and the deals that bring guests in.

Do I need new hardware?

No hardware required. Use a screen you already have where it can open a web browser, or any tablet, laptop or phone. We suggest keeping a spare device or two charged.

Does RightPlace connect to my register’s data?

On Clover, yes: connect it once (the guide is at /guides/connect-clover) and RightPlace reads your checks every few minutes. Otherwise you send RightPlace your register’s reports: upload a CSV file, or email it to your spot’s private report address, and some registers can email it on a schedule. Your register page above shows how. Only totals are saved, never guest names or card numbers. For food a guest ordered ahead, your host taps On the check once it's on their check, so nothing is missed.
