Terms of Service

These terms are the rules for using RightPlace (getrightplace.app). By creating an account or using RightPlace you agree to them. Last updated October 7, 2026. This is a draft pending review by our lawyer.

Who can use RightPlace

• You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
• Deals on alcohol are only for people 21 and older, and places check ID as usual.
• Restaurant and bar accounts must be set up by someone allowed to act for that place.

Your account

• Give us true information and keep it up to date. One account per person.
• Keep your sign-in links and devices safe. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
• If you sign in with Google, Facebook or X, their terms apply to that account too.

The beta

• RightPlace is in beta: some features are unfinished, places and numbers in the preview are made up, and things may change or break. Tell us when they do.

Points and rewards

• You earn points for things like joining, inviting friends, visits through RightPlace, wait reports, reviews and helpful feedback. The current list is on your welcome page.
• Points have no cash value, can’t be sold or transferred, and are used for perks at places that offer RightPlace rewards. Each place sets and honors its own perks.
• We may change how many points things earn, what they’re worth, or end the program, with notice where we can.
• Points earned by cheating (fake accounts, fake invites, fake wait reports or reviews, reports from places you aren’t at) are removed, and the account may be closed.

What you post

• Wait reports, reviews, photos and feedback must be honest and about your own experience. No fake reviews, no reviews of a place you own or work for, no harassment, hate, or private information about others.
• You keep ownership of what you post, and you let RightPlace show it on RightPlace, share it with the place, and use it to promote RightPlace. You can delete it anytime; see the Data Deletion page.
• We may remove anything that breaks these rules.

Places, waits and deals

• Waits, deals, hours and menus come from the places themselves and from guests. We work to keep them accurate, but we can’t promise they are, and a place may change or end a deal at any time.
• Each place is responsible for its own food, drinks, service, deals and perks. RightPlace isn’t part of your visit and never takes payment from guests; you pay the place like always.

Ending your account

• You can stop using RightPlace and ask us to delete your account anytime. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and limits

• RightPlace is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, RightPlace isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything that happens at a place you visit.

Changes, law and contact

• We may update these terms; we’ll change the date above and tell you about big changes. Ohio law applies. Questions: support@getrightplace.app.
